Turkish Coffee With Mastic
Nuri Toplar is one of Turkey's most famous and best quality coffee producers. It is produced with fresh and premium coffee beans, and roasted over a wood fire to create its perfect natural flavors.
This Turkish Coffee is mixed with mastic, to create a more robust flavor. Mastic is a resin, or aromatic gum, that is taken from the bark of a Mediterranean tree and often used as flavoring. It is described as having a flavor that can be similar to a combination of fennel, anise and mint.
Directions: Use 5-6 grams (1.5 teaspoon) of coffee per 65ml of water. Add the water into a pot and set it to low heat. Add the coffee and your choice amount of sugar to the water and mix them slowly. Once the coffee comes to a bubble over time, serve the froth into your cup(s). Then boil the remaining coffee some more, and pour the remainder into your cup(s).
