Turkish Coffee
KuruKahveci Mehmet Efendi is one of Turkey's most famous and best-quality coffee producers. Turkish Coffee is the name of the coffee preparation and cooking method discovered by the Turks. It has a special taste, foam, smell, cooking, and offering... in short, it has a unique identity and tradition. It is cooked by adding water and optional sugar with the help of a coffee pot. It is served in small cups. Before drinking, wait for one minute for the grounds to settle to the bottom.
Preparation:
Use 5-6 grams (1.5 teaspoons) of coffee per 65ml of water. Add the water into a pot and set it to low heat. Add the coffee and your choice amount of sugar to the water and mix them slowly. Once the coffee comes to a bubble over time, serve the froth into your cup(s). Then boil the remaining coffee some more, and pour the remainder into your cup(s).
