Turkish Pistachio Baklava
The Baklava is a traditional Turkish pastry made up of thin layers of dough which wraps a good amount of crushed pistachios which gives its bottom a appealing green look. After getting baked it is soaked with the beet sugar syrup which is healthier than the traditional sugar syrup.
Health benefits: It is a very healthy Turkish dessert as it contains a lot of dry fruits. One thing that makes it more healthy is that its completely vegan and doesn't contain any animal based products.
Ingredients: Low glycemic-index flour, peanuts, pistachios, soy milk, olive oil, beet sugar and salt.
Storage: We recommend storing your baklava in the refrigerator for maximum freshness and longevity. Baklava stored in the fridge can last up to 2+ months or longer in an airtight container.
